PARISH SAFEGUARDING REPRESENTATIVE

Our representative is Anne Crisp.

"Hello everyone. My name is Anne Crisp.
I have just taken over as the Parish Safeguarding Representative from Wilf Hodder who has served diligently in the role for many years.

The Parish Safeguarding Representative is responsible for:

  • making sure the parish is aware of the importance of safeguarding children and vulnerable adults;

  • promoting good and safe practice, including what is appropriate and inappropriate behaviour;

  • deciding, with the parish priest and the diocesan safeguarding co-ordinator/officer, how to administer the National Safeguarding Policies and Procedures within the parish.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or concerns, no matter how small.

We offer DBS checks and safeguarding training for anyone wishing to volunteer in some of the many roles within the parish and I am happy to support you in completing any of the required documentation or courses.

My details are as follows and are also in the narthex on posters by the front door."
